While registering a domain you must be careful but if you type mistakenly wrong domain name then domain registry charges $2 for domain cancellation within 72 hrs of registration. You can get refund of domain registration then you can get it within 72 hours from registry.

Yes, domain registry provides 36 days grace period in which you can renew your domain. After auto renew period the domain will go into redemption period in which you cannot renew it. So always have to renew your domain before expiration.

.COM registry provide only 36 days of grace period to renew expired domain. If your domain is in redemption period right now then it cannot be renewed now.

It will be available in market for re-registration after 75 days of expiration date.

To change your nameserver for your domain through client area:

• Go to Hosting.India.to client area: login here
• Click Domains » My Domains
• "Your Domain Name" and click "Tools" image
• Click on "Change Nameserver"

For that domain registry provides Domain privacy protection for .com, .net, .org domains. You have to purchase privacy protection from your domain registrar.

Domain transfer takes from 5-7 days. Once you place the transfer order, we send the transfer approval mail to ADMIN email id of domain whois.

You have to approve that. Then you earlier domain registrar also send approval mail. And in next 4-5 days, your earlier registrar will release the domain.
