What is Registrar? Where will I get a list of approved registrars?

The organisation, which is registering your domain name, is called Registrar.

A list of all companies current operating, as domain registrars are available in "http://www.internic.net/alpha.html", and the list of all accredited companies (including those that have not yet set up their operations) are available in http://www.icann.org/registrars/accredited-list.html.
